PILOT Festival is a weekend of socially engaged, site responsive works that span live and visual art in the coastal town of Brightlingsea, Essex. On a weekend in September 2013, over three hundred people, from families to teenagers and pensioners, experienced seven artworks around Brightlingsea by artists Bryony Clarke, Amy Sharrocks, Jackie Chettur, Richard Dedomenici, Caroline Wright, Wayne Burrows and Abi Cunliffe/Sidelong. The works included a film screened in the smack dock shed and a temporary Brightlingsea currency; sugary cloud-like candy floss, a set of viewers to look out to sea, a new musical composition and performance, a museum of water set up in the hard shelter and a mass swim in Brightlingsea lido. www.pilotfestival.co.uk take-two-brightlingsea-website-logos
